- Combined household taxable income is $210,000 or less
- You're a landlord upgrading a property you own

Questions people ask before they book
Is there really nothing to pay upfront?
Correct. If you’re approved for the Home Energy Saver loan, the loan covers the system cost and you repay it in instalments over up to ten years at 0% interest. Federal rebates are deducted before the loan amount is set, so you borrow less than the sticker price.
What does the repayment actually work out to?
It depends on the system, but a typical Hunter household borrowing for solar and a battery lands in the range of a normal monthly bill payment. For many customers the reduction in their electricity bill covers most of the repayment from day one. We’ll show you the real numbers for your house at the assessment, before you commit.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. The crew that quotes your job is the crew that installs it. Every installer is accredited and employed by us, which is why our reviews talk about the support after the install rather than just the install.
Do I need to deal with Ausgrid or the rebate paperwork?
No. We lodge the grid connection application with Ausgrid, process the STC rebate and handle the loan application with Brighte or Plenti. You sign, we do the rest.

What if I already have solar?
Adding a battery to an existing system is one of the most common jobs we do, and it’s covered by the same loan. We’ll check your inverter’s compatibility at the assessment.
